We’re creatures of habit. People are very habitual and they get into patterns that are not always good. All of a sudden they can’t run as fast as they want to or run as long as they want to. They can’t cycle as long as they want to – without pain and discomfort.
When people come to see me, it’s because their activity levels have been impaired.

I had a runner come and see me and she was complaining about her foot. She would start running and she would have a pain in her ankle and it would go up to her knee, into her lower back and that would prevent her from running her full five miles. And just after one session, I was able to help release all the tension in her foot, ankle, leg, hip. The next time I saw her a few weeks later she was just raving about her run.
